The Team Endurance Race for 30 racers, we would create 10 Teams of 3, Everyone would go out for some practice laps, then qualifying.. We would create teams based on there qualifying times, pairing the fastest with the slowest and filling the rest in. We then give each team a few minutes to plan for our 40 minute endurance race with pit stops and driver changes… first team to cross the finish line when time runs out wins. Winning team gets Fast Lap Medallions.

Then just for a little more fun, we take the top 8 racers(based on there earlier qualifying) and put them on the track for the individual championship.(10 lap shoot out) For trophy’s. Total event time would be about 2 hours. For More Information give Lew a call at 310-753-0955

After a ten year run the Original West Coast Indoor Karting Facility Dromo1 will close this weekend. “It truly saddens me that one of the great Indoor Racing Tracks and the track that I modeled Fast Lap after as well as many other Indoor Tracks across the country is closing” said Lew Arlington of Fast Lap Indoor Kart Racing. “The Putnams are first class and I hope they find another location soon”! It is my understanding that Stratos Karts will live on, I have checked out the new karts and they are great! I wish Larry and Rachel the very best on their future endeavors!

Three teams from Fast Lap made the finals of the PKE2010 in Las Vegas Friday with the California Team crossing the finish line first. Unfortunatly our driver made a costly error which cost us the race and his team a guarnteed $1500, possible $2500..Whenever you have a lot of cash on the line that final race always seems to get brutal. This race had a few issues, but I’m sure by next year the promoter will work out all the kinks! Got to say thanks to our mechanic, who stuck around and kept all the karts working with all the banging going on. Thanks to all our racers and all the other racers who attended, all are first class competitors! Looking forward to next years race!

Fast Lap Indoor Kart Racing will supply our gas powered Sodi Race Karts for the up coming PKE2010 race at the South Point Hotel and Casino Feb. 5th 2010. The Enduro will consist of Three-man teams and will compete in the first Indoor Kart Racing League arena mini-enduro for more than $5,000.00 in cash prizes. Indoor tracks from around the country will be represented as they race for both the money and bragging rights on Friday Night in one of the most amazing indoor venues around.
