Gas Powered Karts vs. Battery Powered OTL’s whatever that is?

Fast Lap uses Sodi-Kart a world known manufacturer of outdoor world championship race karts. The same technology used in the outdoor karts (which made Sodi World Champions) have been applied to our Indoor rental karts for “The Real Racing Experience”

Longer races, faster karts, wider track, best racing experience!

Check out our “The Difference” Page

If you’re looking for the real racing experience you have to go to Fast Lap! Fast Lap only uses gas powered karts as does 95% of the Indoor Tracks in Europe and the United States. Our Kart’s are manufactured by a real Championship Kart builder Sodi-kart. The engine sits at the drivers side in the middle of the kart for balance and feel. Our seat’s are fully padded race seats produced by Tillet who also produces the majority of all out door race kart seats. The only difference between an outdoor race Sodikart and our Indoor Sodikarts are, our frames are a little thicker and the welds are much stronger. We use a 4 stroke Honda 200cc engine which is capable of speeds up to 50mph. Our tracks are 20′ wide all the way around and are actually 1/4 of a mile long to truly reach 40 plus MPH. The Battery powered OTL’s are manufactured by a company in Italy who for obvious reasons do not produce any real race vehicles or at least I have not heard of any Battery Powered Races. The motor sits behind the kart and batterys line the sides….. So when you go into a corner the vehicle feels like it pushing like a meat truck, Heavy in the back and light in the front even when hitting the brakes really dosen’t get much weight transference. The Battery powered tracks are also much narrower than that of Fast Lap with a lot more turns. I invite you to try both! I am confident that when you race, you’ll race at Fast Lap!

Fast Lap also has the best prices , best racing for the best overall value! You have my word on that!
